Yakima Neighborhood Health Services (YNHS) is a Community Health Center in Central WA State, seeking a full time Optometrist to provide comprehensive optical services to clinic patients (all ages) in an integrated primary care setting. Our Sunnyside office, which is 35 miles south of Yakima, is home to our first vision center. We are currently recruiting for an optometrist for this office.

We’re looking for someone who is high energy, and interested in helping us develop our vision program as part of our comprehensive model of care. This is a hugely popular service for our community. The optometrist provides diagnostic exams, treatment, prescribe and fit eyeglasses, and provides pre and post-op care. You also participate in interdisciplinary QA activities along with a team of medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and social service providers.

We are looking for an optometrist who is mission-oriented, interested in team-based care, and shares a sense of compassion for the underserved.

Full time is for providers is 40 hours per week, with flexible work week options. YNHS offers a competitive compensation package, inclusive of health coverage, malpractice paid leave, retirement / life / disability. Starting salary $136k – 145k DOQ.
